The limbo belongs to the deceased souls, the mononokean (also known as the otherworld) belongs to creatures and spirits, the heaven belongs to divine beings and the hell belongs to the damned. These realms have existed in harmony with creatures respecting the boundaries and rules of respective realms, governed by the THE SUPREME LAWS set by the creator of the universe. Ukiyo, originally being one of the seven pillars created by the universe creator to maintain the balance between existing realms, appears itself, from the outside, as a shabby-looking Japanese shop. Upon entering the shop, however, it reveals itself as a two-floors antique shops, filled with many interesting looking artifacts, relics and antiques. Services provided to customers and patrons are in currency of memories, emotions and mementos.Ground floor: businesses with customers are normally done at the main lounge, at the appraisal counter, which is on the left from the entrance door. Behind the counter, there's an entrance to the kitchen, equipped with modern stove and cooking applications. Wall shelves full of different tea leaves and ingredients to brew perfect tea accustomed according to the need of customers to enjoy while appraisal is done creates rustic and serenity ambiance.The open indoor zen garden: connecting different wings of the establishment is an open zen garden. It is located at the junction to north and east wing, as well as first floor of the shop. In the garden, there's a tall Sakura tree, with a beautiful traditional bird house hanging by one of its sturdy branches.

North Wing and Backyard: Noh masks, swords and dolls room are located at the north wing. This room is restricted and is kept locked. Should you find the door to this room is open, please inform the shopkeeper and do not- under any circumstances- enter the room. The room is filled with cursed and mysterious masks, swords and dolls from all over the world, particularly from east countries, where many taboos involving the objects are from. The room is also connected to the hallways, which leads to the backyard forest- another restricted area. Some claim to have stumbled upon the backyard and have encountered creatures that are thought to be just folklore.

East Wing and Basement: this side of the establishment is highly restricted that only two persons are allowed access to the area. It is highly guarded with deadly traps and curses. Located at the east wing of the establishment is the sealing room down in the basement. The sealing room, as its name suggested, exists to keep and seal possessed and dangerous artifacts. The actual size of the space is unknown as it can store any and every object (even creature). Another noted room in this wing is called Archive room, where it is believed to safekeep the world's history and stories. The Archive room is special to Haesung and can only be accessed by him. According to the shopkeeper, Archive room exists as both the past and future of the world- meaning, whatever that has been written and will be written in any of the books determine the fate of the world and everything, including humans and humanity.

First floor: upon reaching the top step of the stairs, two hallways can been seen on the left and on the right side. These hallways lead to respective bedrooms occupied by both the residents, as well as guests of Ukiyo. To differentiate the rooms occupied by residents from the guests is every guest room comes with a little wooden bell hanging by the door. The door rooms come and go, depending on the capacity required for the night. The price to stay in Ukiyo is extremely expensive, that only certain beings are allowed to stay in the establishment.

When a universe is created, the creator sets the supreme rules of how the universe should operate independently without interference of other creators.
